Daniel Pizappi holds a PhD in English from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and is an experienced writer and Postdoctoral Lecturer in the University of Tennessee English Department. He is also President of the Elizabeth Madox Roberts Society, a small literary studies NPO. With over 10 years of academic writing, editing, and instructional experience, he is now seeking a position that leverages his skills in project management, research, analysis, writing, and instructional design.
Daniel has worked in various roles throughout his career, including serving as Managing Editor for Grist: A Journal of the Literary Arts and Study Abroad Application Consultant for the Center for International Programs at SUNY New Paltz.
Daniel's awards and fellowships include the University of Tennessee Chancellor's Fellowship, Norman J. Sanders Dissertation Fellowship, W.E.B. Du Bois Research Fellowship, and John C. Hodges Excellence in Scholarship Award.
In his free time, Daniel enjoys reading, making music, cooking, and trying to garden.
